Yes, it's time for me to play "catch-up" again. I've gotten behind on blogging, and am still reminding myself to take more pictures!!! Oh, well... Just a couple of cute stories & one cute picture to share of the boys today...
Part of what the kids are doing in children's church these days is beginning to learn the books of the Bible. For my 4-year-old and 2-year-old, this is great! They're learning Bible stories & books of the Bible... these are things I can do with them, too. The first week, the leader commented about Cade's speech & ability to pronunciate such long words as some of the beginning books of the Bible. His favorite one being Deuteronomy. A 2-year-old and a 5-syllable word - too cute & too funny! A couple of weeks later, Deuteronomy is still his favorite, but he can recite "Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy" and sometimes he'll throw a "Numbers" in there somewhere. HA!
Hudson's cute & funny came from school... They were singing a song about animals on the water doing what they "oughtta" - like a duck, a fish, etc. At the end of the song, all of the animals have gone and there are no more animals on the pond. Hudson pipes up and says, "Yes, there is, the otter." (oughtta - otter) HA! At least he was paying attention!
Gotta love 'em!
