Family Fun

A little family fun over Christmas break...
Callie & Hudson playing on his sleeping bag. (He wanted to sleep "with someone" while Cade was at Cacki & Papa's, so we made a pallet for him in Callie's room! She was delighted to see him there when she woke up :)
All bundled up for a cold day outside
Watching a movie under a tent makes it a whole lot more fun!!

My special gift

This is my special gift from my sweet husband. I've mentioned wanting a piece of jewelry to symbolize the kids, and he listened well :) I love it!

top = sapphire for Callie
middle = opal for Hudson
bottom = yellow topaz for Cade

Papa's birthday

Papa celebrated birthday #66 this December 30, so we went to visit him on his birthday. (Plus Cade was getting to spend the night with Cacki & Papa and see the cows!!)
Miss Jesse Grace was there visiting, too :)
While Papa, Cade, and I went out to check the cows, Aunt Candi introduced Hudson to climbing & playing in the hay!
And, of course, when we got back, Cade wanted in on the fun, too.
I told Mom as we left I didn't think I had any pictures of Papa, & it was his birthday! Oh, well... Happy Birthday, anyway, Papa Ross!

Maddox is 6!

Getting ready for Maddox's birthday, the boys got so excited they put on some old birthday hats they had. Very sweet...
Maddox had a lot of fun opening his birthday gifts :)
Callie is stuffing her mouth with something I'm sure she "charmed" from someone. ha!
Here's the birthday boy blowing out all his candles!

Maddox - We hope you enjoyed your birthday very much! We love you!

December 26, 2010

On Sunday the 26th, we had Christmas with the Freemans. It was another great day of family, visiting, laughing, & giving.
All ready to open presents!
Bless his little heart, he really was appreciative of every gift he opened :) So proud of him!
Callie still couldn't care less about opening her own gifts! lol! She wanted to step on boxes & toss paper :)
Look how happy she is! She'd been waiting on those barbies :)
Sweet face :)
New camo hat & new rocker!
Can't get him to look, but doesn't he look handsome in that new coat?!
Lovin' the look, Cal!

We love all of our family so very much! We sincerely enjoyed spending time with everyone over the holidays. Here's to more wonderful times together in 2011!

Merry Christmas 2010!

Santa unloaded his sleigh here :)
Little drummer boy
The ongoing, evertrue fascination between boys & trucks
The equipment with this ambulance is so real!
Callie loved Cade's new "soft" horses as much as he did :)
Little drummer boy, take 2
Hudson's "big truck"... When he came down & saw it, he said, "I got one of my wishes!" My heart just melted...if only he knew the long story behind this truck :)
Chillin & grillin (ha!)
Time for stockings!!!
Look how excited he is! That's just so innocent & adorable.
Cade peeking in...
Callie getting her turn, too.
"Buzz & Woody" (and since they can wear the same size PJs, they get to switch! Thanks, Aunt Sa-Sa :)
An outrageously cute outfit, I thought...we couldn't even get Callie to open her own presents! She was too busy playing with everything else her brothers got!
The kids had a fabulous Christmas day! We truly enjoyed our day together, and with our family that dropped by. The kids are already looking forward to next year! ha!
Merry CHRISTmas!

Getting ready for Santa!

After all the Christmas fun with the Via family, we headed back home. We went to the Christmas Eve service at our church, which is always very meaningful, but challenging with three kids :) At home, we got into our Christmas PJ's, made cookies for Santa, and opened a present from Mom & Dad!
(my new "wallpaper" on our computer :)
(This warm & fuzzy moment didn't last long! ha!)
As Cade was opening, he was exclaiming, "I've been waiting for this my whole life!" Too sweet...
New winter boots for each
Our cookies for Santa...Notice the picture of the two boys in the background (then ages 3 & 1).
Now it's time to snuggle in for a "long winter's nap" so Santa can come use his new magic key to bring us lots of goodies! We've been very good boys & girls this year!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve was spent with my family...
Brooks, Callie, Aunt Cherri, Jesse, Andi Cate (can't get over how quickly she's growing!)
Papa Ross reading the Christmas story... Afterward, Hudson said the sweetest, most genuine prayer for everyone :)
When do we get to open presents?! ha!
Callie's purse she drug everywhere :)
Don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the socks are in mid-air! Callie was pulling everything out of the bag & tossing it aside. Daddy & Uncle Curtis were her "helpers", ha! ha!
We had a wonderful day together with family... visiting, sharing, giving. Merry Christmas Eve!
