SNOW much fun!

Woo-hoo! Snow is fun, fun, fun!!! This time we got a great snow! It began snowing on Friday, Jan 29. We were out of school on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. Wow! I'm not sure exactly how much snow was on the ground, but it was thick with a layer of ice underneath.
It was very cold, too. Baby girl & I stayed in most of the time, but the boys had a lot of fun with Daddy, and I ventured out a little myself when Callie-girl was napping.
This is what it looked like when it first started falling... very big flakes!
Here they are all bundled up & ready to go! They tried to push each other on the sled in the backyard early Friday. It was still snowing & I was inside with Callie at the time. They still had fun, though... it was snowing!
Once Daddy was home, we found a bigger hill in the neighborhood to play on & could get some major pushes! Wheeee!
I did sneak out for a little snow fun...
Snow angels, indeed...
It was a fun-filled weekend!

Weekend in Alabama

Over the MLK weekend, all of Howie's family traveled to Alabama to visit his PawPaw. PawPaw is 93-years-old. It was nice to have all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together.
Hudson, Maddox, Wesley
Karen, Eli, PawPaw Freeman
Jason, Rachel, Payton, Gayle, Cheryl, Hudson, Wesley, Martha, Cherri, Callie, Jaime, Cade
Payton & Callie, Rachel, Jason
Jaime & Mia
PawPaw & his great-grand-girls... Callie, Payton, Jaime, Mia. What happened to a picture with all the great-grand-boys?!

Everyone had a great time visiting together. We shouldn't wait so long before we do it again!

This 'n That

Just a few odds-n-ends pics to post...

Playing around with Christmas presents

Visiting with Papa on his birthday

This picture of Callie was taken in late December. She wants to sit so badly! I had her pillow set up where she was propped in a somewhat seated position. She kept pulling herself forward! I would push her back against the pillow & she would pull herself right back out!

We love the blue chair for snack time! (Poor chair has about seen its final days!)

She looks like she blows her cheeks out! Sweet girl...

Callie was trying to chew on the pig's nose while playing on her tummy

1st Cereal

At four months of age, we started each of the boys on cereal. So Callie got her turn at four-months, too! Don't her facial expressions say it all?!
Check out the audience... even Daisy!
I think she's done :)

Snow!

On January 6, we got some SNOW! Just a dusting, really, but enough to call off school and to have fun in!
See boys in new long johns...
See boys play!
It was FREEZING cold outside, but how can you not go out & play when there is snow on the ground?! There wasn't enough snow for actual sledding, but, never fear... These two ingenious little boys found another way to use their sled - down the slide! COOL!
It was too cold for me & little Callie, so I took these pictures through the windows. I was impressed with how well they turned out! :) I'm enjoying my new camera!

A Little Guilty...

Think I should feel a little guilty? I put Cade in time-out this morning, and after a few seconds there, he starts singing Joy to the World! ha! I sat at the breakfast table amused that my three-year-old chose to sing that song while in time-out. :)

Maddox Turns 5!

The boys' cousin, Maddox, turned five-years-old on December 28. He celebrated earlier in December with a cool magic show...

... & cold hayride! Everyone bundled up, though, and had a terrific time... especially the birthday boy!

We love you, Maddox!
Happy 5th!

4-Months-Old

On January 9, Callie was 4-months-old! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by, and how much she is growing. I'm loving every minute of it!
She loves a bath. She's pulling herself forward to sit up & does great lifting her head while on her tummy... What a strong girl! Callie definitely recognizes her mommy, daddy, & brothers, and turns her head to who is talking. (She "breaks her neck" to find the TV, too! ha!) She's also quite the "talker" herself these days. :) Callie is a great nighttime sleeper, and we're getting ready to try out some cereal. Yuuuummmy!
4-month stats: 14 lb, 1.5 oz and 25" long

CHRISTMAS Continues...

On December 26th, we celebrated Christmas in Millington with the Freeman family! It was great to have everyone together!
The kids all enjoyed playing together & opening gifts. Howie tested out the new camera :).
