Hudson had his guitar recital this past Sunday. He's only been taking lessons for a couple of months, but he can play 3 chords on the first string well, and is learning three chords on the second. Anyway, his teacher felt like he could play, and he wanted to, so we did! His teacher made up a little one-liner for him that he played through twice. He did a great job! He was a little nervous when we got there, but by the time he played, he seemed calm & cool. We were so, SO PROUD of him. He really did a super job! And he had his own "fan club" present, too, which means so much to him - Gran & G, Aunt Lu-Lu, Wesley, & Maddox, and Aunt Candi. Thank you all for coming!!!
This is actually a picture taken today. He was against me taking pictures of him before his recital, and the ones during the recital didn't turn out so well. Way to go, Hudson!
He's going to be such a sweet big brother to his new baby sister. He really wanted a baby sister, and he is so excited! I've started browsing through "girl stuff" when I'm out, trying to get in the right mindset, and I bought her first dress today while Cade & I were out. When I told Hudson, he smiled really big, and said,
"Oooh! I think we're going to have to get her some bows, too!" Awww...
