The kids are enjoying swimming this summer, as usual. I don't have many pictures of them swimming simply because when all three of them are in the water, they require full attention!
Hudson took swimming lessons again this year, and has continued to improve. In fact, he swims fully without swimmies! Yeah, Hudson! He jumps off the board and swims to the side all by himself! We are so proud of him, and he is very proud of himself, too... As proven when he climbs on the board and announces, "Watch me, everybody!"
Cade took swim lessons for the first time this year. I think he REgressed every day! ha! He TOTALLY did not like being in the water with someone else. He trusts mommy & daddy, but isn't sure about anyone else. So, I'm not sure how much that week helped him, but he does still love going to the swimming pool :) Slowly but surely, he gains a little more confidence every time.
Callie is completely laid back in the water :) In fact, I don't think she knows she's IN the water most of the time! She just hangs out in her floatie and happily watches everything that goes on around her.
Below are pictures of Callie in her baby pool we got her for the backyard. She likes it, but is too much of a busy-body to stay content for too long without trying to get out. She face-planted in the grass a couple of times because she just HAD to stand up on the side! Silly girl!
