A Growing Girl

Here's our little angel girl at 2-months-old. At her check-up in November, she had gained another 2 1/2 pounds, and grown an inch & a half... wow! Her 2-month stats: 12 lb, 1.5 oz, and 23" long! In one month, she went from the 50th percentile in weight to the 90th... you "grow" girl!


Callie loves to watch her hands, and she chews on them a lot! She has the most beautiful smile. I can't get enough of that! At two months, she could already roll from her tummy to her back. She is a strong baby girl! Callie really is a good baby. She's an awesome nighttime sleeper... what more could a mommy ask for?!


Bless her heart, she has lost most of her hair though, and what remains is so funny! Had to take a picture... She does have new hair coming back, but she still has a little bald spot in the back. Too cute!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We were fortunate to spend a day of Thanksgiving with each of our families this year. Everyone being together can be chaotic, but equally as wonderful. We are blessed to be part of truly loving families... I can't help but stop and think about the service men & women and their families especially during the holidays. God's peace, comfort, and blessings to you all...

Cade's Birthday Weekend II

Cade's Birthday Weekend I

Cade turned three-years-old on November 13th... Yes, Friday the 13th this year... but it was a super-spectacular day! The weather was awesome for November and we went to the zoo! The boys have been begging to go back. Howie went this time, which was great! I was able to take a break with Callie when needed, and he got to spend some time with the boys. Cade enjoyed his birthday very much!

Watching the polar bear swim & swim was one of the highlights of the day! It was almost like he was putting on his own show!

This group of monkeys was swinging & climbing. They were a lot of fun to watch, too.

And here is Cade's favorite animal... a horse! Of all the wild animals at the zoo, the barnyard animals were his favorites. :)
