Soggy days

Getting a little "cabin fever" with all the rain lately. One day, with just some misty rain, I put rain coats & rain boots on the boys, sent them to the backyard, and said go for it! Can't let the rain keep us from outside every day! :)

Then, on a somewhat sunny day, even though the backyard was still quite soggy, we fixed up a lunch and picniced under the play structure. They thought it was great, and had a blast!

One month old

Our little Callie Jewel was one-month-old last week! I can't believe a month has already passed! She is a sweet, baby girl... She's resting well at night, and gives Mommy one good, long stretch of rest... She loves some nice "face time"... And she looks for her brothers whenever she hears them. Callie is even spontaneously smiling some! WOW! That is amazingly wonderful to see! :)

Her one-month measurements were:

weight = 9 lb, 12.5 oz

(She's gained a pound and a half in 2 weeks!)

length = 22 inches

(She's grown an inch and a half in 2 weeks!)

We are all enjoying her very much, and we're adjusting well. We've had a lot of help from friends & family which has been absolutely wonderful!!! Thank you everyone!

I'm feeling much more like myself these days. My bells palsy started improving about two weeks ago (almost 5 weeks after onset). With my face getting back to normal, I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!!

Thanks, again, for all the food, thoughts, and prayers, as well as the help with the boys!

Wesley's 1st Birthday

There was another 1st birthday recently... WESLEY! This big boy turned one on September 23. He is such a handsome fellow... and he's walking & playing... a happy boy!

Howie, Hudson, and Cade enjoyed celebrating Wesley's birthday with him, the rest of the family, and some friends, too! Everybody had a wonderful time!

Soccer Fans

Fall soccer season continues, and here's my #4 green team player in action!

He still loves an audience, and the family has been very good about getting to his games whenever they can. I got to attend this game, and Hudson had special visitors Maddox, and Mia & Uncle Grumpy from Gallatin in town.

At another game, Andi Cate, Cacki, and Great-Grandma Carnese came to watch Hudson play, then stopped by the house to see Callie!
